Can highly recomend Ramayana - location is great - 5 min walk to beach, 2 min walk to Mataharis, great restaurants all around, Markets across the road.
The hotel has just had the restaurant all renovated and it looks fantastic yummy yummy breakfast !!! The rooms are airconditioned very clean, in room safe, bar fridge, tv.
The pool area is basic... i have seen nicer pool areas.
But it is clean and nice and quiet. And we love it as its not packed out like other hotels - some hotels you cant even get a deck chair !!!
We are not the party sort - but i know Stadium bar (part of ramayana) gets busy with the young ones.
We are staying here in March and counting down - 4th or 5th time staying at Ramayana.
i am sure wherever you choose you will have a great time.
