we have stayed at HardRock last 2 times in Bali, last 07/07 & can not fault it at all. we are planning to go back Dec 08, great location, the best pool ever, great food, friendly staff & very clean. It can be a little pricy to drink & eat in hotel but good quality.
if you have kids, they will love you for it as the pool is huge and lots of activitys going on, also i felt the kids were safe to wonder around the grounds & pool.
i have stayed at Jayakarta and it is totally different, you really cant compare the two.
