It is fine to take your duty free bottle(s) of alcohol on board aircraft in your carry on if you bought it after the xray, around immigration/passport control.
Cant check in your luggage then buy in the airport then proceed thru the 'magic' doors.
Crazy rule really, if they genuinely dont want risk of weapons on board aircraft then why allow glass?
