We're surrounded by everyday stuff that has been documented/proven as being harmful but we continue using regardless. What about mobile phones? A very convenient little everyday item. Perhaps that's why we choose to ignore the possible effects. I could be wrong but I don't think a little Deet whilst traveling o/s is a big deal in comparison.
