I havent tried Ayurvedic Cleansing but did have Ayurvedic Shirodara treatment at Melasti Spa last November.

"It is a treatment used by Indian yogis to enhance self-awareness. Shirodara restores calm and vital balance to the mind and the nervous system, correcting imbalances of the senses. The treatment is also believed to reduce insomnia.

Shirodara begins and ends with a face, neck and scalp massage. Once you are totally relaxed, the therapist takes up to 25 minutes to pour warm herbal oil in even, continuous stream over the 6th chakra point in the centre of your forehead, better known as your "third eye".

In this liberated state you may meditate deeply or simply abandon yourself to sensation"

Abandon myself, oh, I sure did, it was a truly amazing total relaxation state for me!
