I usually fly, brisbane 3pm... arrive singapore about 8.30pm... have a 50minute transfer..then on the last flight to jakarta at about 9.20pm... arrive here about 10pm... (I live in Jakarta)
otherwise you can get the midnight flight from brisbane, arrive singapore early in the morning, then catch one of the many connecting flights to jakarta during the day.
There is also a morning service that leaves brisbane about 10am... but now they have cut that back to 3 days a week.
