i stayed there last june with my husband and had paid for the deluxe rooms the rooms were beautiful and large and did overlook a ravine. However due to the large gap under the doors we had a lot of creepy crawlies in our room included animal poo on our beautiful white sheets. Arrived at 1am first night and didnt take much notice but on second night heard larger critter scratching in the rafters, my husband kept telling me not to be silly woke up in morning with large bull ants crawling past my nose and sheets covered in poo. I was hysterical but did go calmly down to reception and explained our situation they were very apologetic and wanted to move me to the room next door!!! i did ask politely if we could go to standard room near pool which they did for us. I also had 3 girl friends staying in standard room there and they had plenty of room. I would'nt pay for the deluxe room although it was marginally larger than standard both had outside bathrooms. Location was great have also stayed at Komeaneka and that was gorgeous. Hope this helps.
