All of our family's accidents have ocurred on Lembongan and there is a health clinic that send nurses to your hotel. When we were in Lombok- Kuta a friend had a motor bike accident and same thing went to the local health clinic and had stitches and antibiotics and a similar cost.

When my son had his stitches we gave the clinic a call, she was there at our hotel in 5 minutes and half an hour later it was all fixed (and he made me video it). Laying on the lounge in a beachfront hotel restaurant having stitches certainly makes a better experience. I am actually a manager of Community Nurses and all the supplies were sterile and she showed me everything and explained what she was doing. I would have to say much better treatment than you would ever get in Australia. But for bigger things they would boat you over to Denpasar. The local health clinic can look after most travellers ailments, especially vomiting etc.
