Hi Lenny
I will probably get some flack with "how could you be sure about"etc
but its true. We stayed at MBR twice a year for about 7 years when our kids were young mainly for room size, beach access/safety/security reasons. During our stays by about the 2nd or 3rd day we all had the quesey tummy not quite right feeling which we put down to change of food, different enviro reasons, this was consistent each trip and we even ended up taking natural supplement powders to try to settle and line the stomach. I should mention that we only ate fresh fruit, eggs & toast at breakfast. The upshot was we got tired of a certain element of tourist there and moved to a quieter villa which we have stayed at for the last 4 years. The point is that this uneasy tummy part of bali lifestyle feeling left us when we moved to alternate accom. We had other instances where my son ate lunch there and was violently ill
in the room directly after. Met good staff and Agung the boss who are still good friends, but I wont go near that kitchen again.
Brent
