the Barong is a very cheap priced hotel with a good standard of cleanliness, staff are very good,massage ladies are excellent.
Brekkies are fair to good compaired to some much finer hotels that i have stayed at!!!
Their are two pools, the rear with a Kiddies pool and both are always keeped clean.
Family rooms are huge!
My experience at the Barong has been with a good mix of age (young, families and older couples)and a good mix of nationalities (italian, British, Irish, french, aussies etc). Like many hotels of a cheaper nature you can get quiet nights and sometimes noisier nights but I have never been annoyed or keeped awake from noise at the Barong.
The location is great with a front entrance with three different directions to leave by or the rear entrance with two directions to come or go by!! Shops a plenty and restaurants many, all within walking distance. Beach 6 min walk!
