Let me say to start off I am no medical expert, but I have extential experience in travel to areas of mosqito born diseaseses. I have travelled on over 30 occasions to Sth Africaand other countries within Africa where these diseases are prevelant. As my favourite doctor has told me on numerous occasions. "You wont get it unless you get bit" To avoid this you must follow a strict regime.
Firstly before you go start taking straight Vitamin B before you go and maintain it whilst you are away. Mossies do not like Vitaamin B
Cover up whenever mosqitos are prevalent.
Use Mosqito repellant with the highest Deet I.E. Bushmans over your clothes.
Carry Malaria tabs and if and when you start to suffer with Malraia or mosquito born diseases overdose yourself with the tabs and evacuate to Australia.

With regard to the last comment Malaria tabs do not prevent you from catching the diseases they only prolong you to seek available help.

I know it may seem an overkill but but better be safe than sorry. Going to Bali on the 8th Feb for the 15th time and looking forward to it and I will stick to this program and it will not restrict me whatsoever.

Bali-bec, I hope everything is Ok and we are thinking of you. Back on the bike and see u back in Bali
