I have bought lots of packets of the 1c or 5c exercise books previously, but found the weight to be the biggest issue!
I just bought a few pack of books this year.
This year, I was in Go Lo and they offered packets of click pens for 1c, ie 2 red 2 blue 2 black pens for 1c, if you purchased $5 or more in stationery. I bought my $5 worth and the cashier asked how many packets of pens I wanted, I chose 10. So, I bought 60 pens for 10c. Bargain I thought. I think the school children will be happy with their packs of oens too.
