I can highly recommend Alam Shanti, Alam Jiwa, Honeymoon Guesthouse anf of course Tegal Sari in Ubud - they all have lots of different categories and price ranges for their rooms. All are small family run friendly places. Have only ever stayed at Rini in Lovina. Lovina is very quiet most of the time but if you are only there for 1 night you don't want to spend too much time running around looking at rooms.
