Thanks for the advices. It has come back to me now that I have paid in US$ so I don't have to queue as long to get change. On one occassion, I was given an old Indo note that wasn't accepted by local shops and traders. I had to find a bank and it was a hassle I want to avoid. Is my memory correct that it's faster and easier to pay in US currency as they have a different queue?
