You can get good very casual clothes from the stalls. Places like Ketut's & Debby's are great for standard Bali stuff.
For better styles & quality there is a huge variety & those shops are frequently fixed price with good aircon. Animale Factory Outlet (as opposed to Amimale in Jl Pantai) is good - has bags, shoes & jewelry - all very different from elsewhere - classy stuff & great prices.
There are heaps of boutique-type shops in Seminyak - take at cab to Bintang Supermarket, walk down one side of the road then cross over, end up back at Bintang, stock up on supplies there & take a cab home.
My fave place is Jacques Ruc in Seminyak - do a search here for the address. Centro Dept Store in Tuban has some good things. Search the JBRs here, too. You can get anything from beach wear to office wear in Bali.
And if you have some fave clothes, take them over & tailors will copy them for you.
