We have just booked Tegal Sari in a super delux bungalow. Although I havn't yet seen it I believe it would suit. They don't have interconnecting rooms but our children are the same age as yours and the hotel say the one room will fit us all.
We have stayed in Tarum Harum Cottages in Mas before. It, too, was suitable, particuly with the traditional style you are seeking but we found it too far out from Ubud (about 15 mins). The drive back at night after dinner was just too much for the children to put up with after a day's activity so we are staying a bit closer in to town this time.
