We had them done twice and both times they weren't very well done. It does take a while but is a whole lot cooler and easier to look after. When we took them out we sat for ages taking mine out and I lost a whole heap of hair. When we took my daughters out I just took out the rubber bands and she went swimming and they came out easier and on there own. We only had to do a couple. So make sure your hair is wet when you take them out.
