we had aproblem a couple of years back with a hotel in sanur , bad room, leaking toilet , brown yukness comming out of the hole in bath we complaned to the hotel with no help from them we even said we would pay for a upgrade still no help , so we contacted our travel agent first thing that monday ( we arrived on a saturday) and we where out of their with in 3hrs , travel agent contacted hotel ,hotel staff attitude quickly changed fresh fruit nice drink and cakes brought to our rooms while we where packing we enjoyed them and left! checked into the mercure in sanur and was very happy ,so is always a good idea to get in touch with the travel agent if you can if your not happy in our case the standard of the room was not to what we had booked and we where not the only ones complaining alot of people from the uk where also pissed with the rooms and the way the staff didnt care , when we returned home i e-mailed the hotel manager about the way we where treated ( it made me feel better) i got a reply with a very sorry about your stay hope you will return one day... yes i will but not to your hotel!!!
