other than, as Dennisc has said, the international and domestic airports while actually being on the same site are a fair way from each other and going from one to the other is like starting your trip all over again. You have to get yourself from one to the other and to the right part of the domestic airport (not all domestic airlines use the same terminal), find the checkin desk, get yourselves through the security and Qantas, at least, closes its checkin a very strict 30 mins before ETD. And all this after hoping that you have no delays getting through customs at the International airport, your luggage arrives as and when it should and there are no taxi or shuttle bus issues. Easy really!
