We went there in a group of 5 ladies in March 2006 (and I might add numerous times since).
Di had been trying to recreate the hash browns recipe at home and hadnt quite, at that stage, replicated it to perfection.
She was even prepared to offer to sleep with the chef if he/she would devulge the secret! Maybe just another one of those 'had to be there' situations but gee we laughed a lot. Those waiters must go to 'sensual coffee plunging classes' and I might add all got honours!
You mention the caramelised bananas with macadamia nuts, what about the stack of cherry ricotta hotcakes with coconut and honeyed marscapone cream!
