We went via Royal Brunei in 2005 with our three teenage children as they have excellent fares for under 17 year olds. The airline was excellent, great service. Back then HAD to do a stop over - one night on the way to Bali and one night on the way home. . We did not like Brunei and could not wait to get out of there. I would not recommend it as a country to visit. The people are not used to Tourists or foreigners, they are generally rude everything is very expensive ie: Taxis (could not find a driver willing to take the five of us and had to hire two taxis from the airport. We did Brunei's "disneyland" which was like a rundown amusement park, were the only foreigners (Kiwis) there, did enjoy a boatride to look at the houses on the water.
BTW, have booked with this airline again for May this year, because we no longer have to stop over Yah!! and cheap fares.
