Air Asia have announced they intend to operate in Bali as a turn around point for flights from Darwin and Perth. New destinations in Australia will commence in Sept-Oct 2008.
Lion Air have purchased 49% of Brisbane based airline Sky Air World. This will mean that Lion Air will have the same air traffic rights to operate as any Australian owned airline.
