i would never go up there and back in one day coz that is just too much time on my butt in a car for one day but i would recommend going up that way for a couple of nights. The snorkelling at Menjengan is pretty spectacular and makes for a great half day out. The other day you could spend in the national park or having a look around Singaraja.
