Hi Chrisk,

My husband and I are staying at Sersari at the end of May this year for the first time, but I have inspected the villas before in person and they look fantastic. Sesari was built and operated by the same people who own Alu Bali - and I have stayed at Alu many times. Their service is fantastic and their properties are always in good condition, I can't reccomend them highly enough. Alu Bali's owners have just sold the management rights to Sesari Bali to another operator, but I certainly don't think that this will affect their service levels at all - at least I hope not!!

In my opinion a villa is always preferable to a hotel room if you can afford it, though Sesari is not near the beach (15-20 minute walk away). It really depends on what you want, but for my money I would opt for Sesari every time.
