I wanted to use my points that is why I was trying to upgrade. I think they are only valid for a certain length of time and I now have enough points. I usually fly BC and we have often had to get up to get a drink. Last trip the flight attendant serving the meals (trolley food out of Perth, still silver service from other states) had no idea what she was doing and then no matter no much we buzzed, no one answered.
