as it sounds, we also emailed the consulate with copies of our bank statements (with account no blacked out) our passports and letter of invitation. We also deposited the funds for flight direct into our friends account and they got a good deal in Bali for airfare. The most important advice I got from this forum was organise TRAVEL INSURANCE for your guest, we organised here in Oz cost only about ASD$50.00 but it is available in Bali also. Worth every penny as you are financially responsible if your guest needs any medical treatment.
It is definately one of the most rewarding and memorable things,something that we treasure.
