To save even more on plastic wastage you can buy a 19 litre(galon as they call them) in many places and return empty bottle for a refill(change over bottles)and return empty bottle at end of trip for refund of deposit,or give it a member of staff to do as a tip.
You can buy a small hand pump to get water out of large bottle in bintang supermarket and other place for about rp25,000-35,000 which you just take home with you if you wish as only light.
