first time to bali- how exciting....
i have been several times and always take cash and as soon as i get to the hotel i put all the cash in the safe. And just cash $200 when i need it. I have never had a problem.
How much to take????? Everyone is different. But i usually take $1000
and i buy heaps of dvds (about 150!!) summer clothes for husband and 2 children, all the bali bits... watches, bags, placemats, massage everyday, 1 spa treatment about $100, taxis, entry to waterbomb park, and all food except breakfast. I dont drink alcohole and this does not include accomadation. i am a big shopper and addicted to bali massages and love their food, and i always come home with a bit of money, i have never run out of money. i am taking my daughter this year for the first time so i am planning to take an extra $500 as it will be times 2 of massage shopping and food!!
