Every one has a different idea! We take a mix of cash and Visa. Heaps of ATMs. Check how much your bank charges for each transaction.The max you can get out in one go is about $250. Travellers cheques are not so easy to cash. Best places ( ie most honest )are PT Kuta Central usually found in Kodak shops. How much to take ????? Visa accepted in large stores often with 3,5% added. There are reports of some skimming of cards.
