I usually have say $1000.00 in cash. Pay your VOA in AUS dollars at the Airport and you should have enough Rp for taxi in change.
Both have a efpos card that you can use at ATMS split the travel $ between both your accounts. ATM's are everywhere now. Just remember the card comes out last.
Have a credit card with a limit on it - in case needed. Advise your bank of your travels.
