Melasti is ok, not fancy but affordable for families on a budget. We have been fortunate to stay at some lovely places in Bali, (niksoma, dynasty and PR before and after reno's).
This year we are going with 2 other families and had to keep everyone's budget in mind, so Melasti it is.
The location is fantastic, spa is a fav and rooms are clean.
This is our 9th trip and third time at Melasti. We have encountered the bb gun kids, lounge hogs but a holiday is what you make of it, we don't let these minor bugs get to us.
I have been to GVC for a look through our friends room but still prefer Melasti for location....(beach). You will just have to try it for yourself and make a well informed decission.
