Hi. We stayed at Bali Hai which is one of the last hotels in Tuban and loved it at the time. It was a bit far away from everything else and we had to catch a cab everywhere, but we didn't mind. The roads near the other hotels near waterbomb etc are very busy so it depends on what your children are like and what you want. We stayed at Jayakarta last year and loved it. Much better location in regards to walking around with the kids as traffic is not so busy and everything such as restaurants and shopping are so near. It is on the beach so they can go there and run around and swim and the grounds are lovely. The rooms may be a little tired, but you don't stay in them that much anyway. It just depends on what your children like doing, if they like going to timezone and shopping in big centres and more night life maybe Tuban is the way to go, if you like it to be a little more quieter, but still be close to shopping, beach and great restaurants go Legian.
