Why not try at Doha International Airport. If it is anything near Dubai International Airport, I am sure that shops there will be able to provide not only excellent pricing but even an international warrant that can be used in the UK. At least make sure that the warrant is international.
My experience with laptops, and other computer asociated accessories, is that one may need some support should one get stuck with something malfunctioning.
Do use brands that are on sale in the UK as then it would be easier to service the machine once back home.
