Hi Wilson6, yes you can do a day trip to Lovina,from Seminyak wil take about 2 1/2 - 3 hours but there is so many things to see enroute and would be a shame to miss anything if you had seen it before also don't forget to see the budha monastary and the hot springs,it would be a long day to see everything but you can certainly do it if you do not spend too much time stopping @ places on the way
