If you are making many calls, buy a local card.
Using International Roaming, calling Australia from Bali will cost you over $& per min. However, calling Bali from Oz will only cost a little over a dollar per min (charged to your phone, not just the caller) So if you need to actually talk to someone in Oz, it's cheaper to sms them telling them to call you.
