One of the best dive sites is at Tulumben on the east coast (just north of Amed). The Liberty shipwreck lies just offshore in clear shallow water (about 5 metres down to about 30, I think) and is one of several great dives in the area. I used Eco-Dive at Amed who were excellent but there are many other dive companies in the area. Just google diving in Tulamben and you'll find a plethora of websites.
Although I haven't been there, Menjangan Island (on the north west tip of Bali) is reputed to be a world class dive site. I doubt that you would be disappointed with either.
