i do know genuine converse shoes can be bought from department stores for around 200 000rp or so.
Also BrigidE from TripAdvisor wrote this "Sports Station is great for cheap 'real' branded sneakers - there is one in Discovery but we usually make a trip to the store in the Tiara supermarket in Denpasar as they have a better range of sizes for big western feet ( the bigger sizes go fast in the shop in Kuta I guess!)"
