We stayed at Melasti over a 7 year period mainly because of our kids security, and as Thomo said they were guilty of the bb gun thing,which I did control(my 2 anyway),when the group of associated kids grew to small army proportions. My friend was there last year and had an argument with a group of yobbos on the upper level above him, up parting all night and flicking ciggi butts down onto his outdoor area - he wont go back. One of my boys got sick within 20 min of eating at the rest. I would advise just eating fruit, eggs, toast at breakfast. One other long term stayer got sick eating there and required 2 doctor visits at $200 a go, the doc apologised for the fee as he had to pay the boss the balance of his $60.00 fee as a kickback,he used to stay for 6 month intervals, if you get sick get yourself to bimc,I did enjoy earlier trips there but we are well over the resort thing now,Sari Beach Inn next door is much quieter if you want the resort thing
