There is a true story I read recently ( I think it was on e travelblackboard ) - a hotel guest who had mistaken the room safe as a microwave oven. Can remember the exact facts but of course the time dial up ( to cook the pizza ) created a new password and the guest rang the reception to complain she couldnt get the Pizza out of the oven.
The receptionist must have been quite puzzled given they didnt have Microwaves in their rooms !!
Now back to the Q. Most hotels have safes nowdays at a certain hotel categories. I suggest you Choose your hotel and then enquire about if it has a in room safe
