We are also from Adelaide and I enquired about the Virgin Blue - Garuda deal and it was just too hard to get any firm prices, it seems that it was cheaper to do a costing from Sydney or Melbourne to Bali and add on your own domestic flight from Adelaide to Sydney or Melbourne. Did this exercise with Nicki and it was $50 per person cheaper to fly via Singapore even taking into account that our 13 year old son was able to fly child fare with Garuda compared to full adult fare with Singapore airlines. Also the timing for the connection from the Virgin Blue flight and Garuda in Sydney was just too tight. The Singapore Airline and Garuda costings were for low season leaving on the 20th June.
