Nusa Dua is lovely and relaxing. There are many restaurants outside of the resorts in Nusa Dua and Benoa. Do a search of the Forum using our user name. Back in June 2007 we did some JBR's for Nusa Dua. JBR no 2 has phone numbers in it of some nice restaurants. Might be a good starting point for you. They will come and pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. If you take a stroll along the restaurant strips they have people standing outside handing out cards with the restaurant phone number and what type of food, etc, on them. We ate at Benoa (La Scala has sails like the Sydney Opera house for the roof, not hard to miss, I had the chicken melting, a forum recommentdation, just delicious, the Bualu Restaurant strip in Nusa Dua and the strip of restaurants outside of the gates where the markets are. There are some restaurants at the Bali Collcetion (shopping centre) but we didn't get a chance to get to them. Heaps of cheap and great restaurants to choose from. Nusa Dua beach front is lovely to walk along with the sea breeze. Have a great time.
