1. As you walk out of the airport doors there will be lots of people there some holding up signs with the name of the hotel along with yours on it. Some hotels pick up more than just one so you might be sharing with other guests.
2. We usually change our money in Bali. We keep some from our previous trip so we can pay for a taxi as we don't bother with transfers but if you are being picked up then you won't need any until you get back to your hotel.
3. Never swam in the beah only the pools as I don't like creatures either. LOL!
4. Most hotels will have transport or shuttle buses or you can just go out the front and get a taxi. In Kuta there are heaps of taxis so no need to book.
5. The best tip is, Enjoy your self! There are heaps of place to go and see and most hotels will have a tour desk. For the past 11 years we have used a fabulous guy John from Tania Tours. He can take you on any tours of the island, including all the usual, Elephant Parks, Bird Park, Zoo etc. He can arrange any size vehicle and he speaks very good English. His mobile is 0815 3609 6305.
