ok i have been three times and on the weekend going for my fourth time so i will have a go.
1- they will usually either have the name of the tour company or your name on the sign and they all gather just outside the main doors leaving the terminal. dont stress its hard to miss.
2- do not let anyone touch your bags at the airport! the porters will try to grab your bags and charge you for the privellege. I got caught the first time.
3 - we allways change a little bit of money at the airport in bali and do the rest at authorised money changers for better exchange rates than aust.
4 a quick google says yes there are snakes around. You are probably as likely to be bitten there by a snake as you are to be bitten by a shark in perth.
5 there are lots of taxis around usually but i have never been to nusa dua so cant comment
6 have fun! after your first couple of purchases you will find yourself a professional haggler
