Hi Newdad
I took my 5month old 2yrs ago and it was pretty easy. We paid xtra to stay at the villas in seminyak. We had boiling and cold clean water on dispenser tap so I found no need for a microwave for the formula. the dispenser did make life easy so if you can find a place that uses them great. I just washed the bottles in clean warm water and dishliquid. No problems. I did need repellant for the baby, he got eaten by mozzies the first night and needed a mozzie net over the porta cot. I bought my own old second hand pram which worked well as it laid back. I bought my own nappies across but they are available at the shops. The balinese will also run off with your baby while you are at restaurants so you can eat in peace. It felt bad travelling without a baby seat but you get used to it. I would hold the baby and use a seat belt if available. Have fun its easy just dont forget the mozzie spray and sunscreen
