The Villa Fontaine in Shiodome is a great hotel for around the price you are after, and in a pretty cental location. Includes a decent breakfast too.
Hotel gimmond is ok too , have stayed there before too.
What a great trip you have in store- too of my favourite places in the world, and a total contrast to boot.Nice one
