If you type this in the search archives you will find quite a bit of information. We were there last year and do try to get there every year. Beautiful resort with really nice pool and grounds. Rooms are exactly as you see on the website. Staff are really friendly especially around the pool and on reception. Food is really good and we didn't find it that expensive. Room service meals were good too. Breakfast is on the beach in fan cooled pergola, a bit bright on the eyes and sometimes a little windy. Food is buffet style and hot food selection changes each day. You can buy a booklet of 5 tickets and get 2 free...just lasts a week! You can also order off the menu at the front sports bar/cafe breakfast, lunch and dinner. Be aware that the meals served in the front bar are the same that is served in the 'posh' restaurant inside the hotel at slighter dearer prices. Internet can be acessed in your own room if you have your own laptop or at the business centre where there are 2 computers. Laundry can be done directly across the road very cheaply and when you drop off or collect you will notice that they do the personal laundry of other Peninsula guests (they thinking that it is done by the hotel!). Pool lounge hoggers are prevalent from early in the morning. The Spa in the hotel was quite expensive so maybe find one outside the hotel. Many restaurants are on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. The road runs between the beach/hotels and the restaurants/shops on the other side. Restaurant prices are varied in range. If you walk the street at night you will be handed many vouchers to go along and get a discount at the different restaurants. Happy hour is the best time to buy drinks/cocktails around the pool, times change from the pool and the sports bar, a gong is sounded at the pool at the start of happy hour. Pool towels are supplied at the pool and hopefully you know that the resort is a good 25 minutes from Kuta central. Transport is abundant at the hotel or just outside. Ask for Mr. Wi at the reception and you'll get where you want to go not where the driver wants to take you. Hope this helps.
