I remember staying at Kuta Beach Club in 1993 and we hired a fridge. At the time, my second visit to Bali, we were pleased to pay us$10 per night for the use of the fridge. What a rip off that was!
I would be more inclined to change accommodation to another of the suggested hotels in same area.
