.. water? They can't,in general. Only the affluent ones can afford to buy bottled water - see the post on this screen regarding the average wage for a Balinese. They boil their water. When we lived there we did the same .... even when we had our baby with us I made his formula & other food with boiled water & no problems(staying in a house not an hotel).
I'd only use bottled water during the wet season tho - seepage from septic tanks into wells can be a problem with heavy rain.
