I brought wood & food in the other day (Sunday) when returning from Bali and no problems. The only thing that got taken off us was some sealed Pineapple Jam which was taken off us at Bali Airport because it was in our hand luggage & classed as a liquid & over the 100ml threshold.
Apart from that i brought all sorts of wood in, along with food, including peanut satay packet sauce & chips & chocolate- all sealed of course!
