If this helps you at all and I am not trying to be morbid or anything just giving you my personal experience - my husband passed away last year after a 4 week battle with cancer, the day he was diagnosed he cried and said I can't get back to my beloved Bali, so when I was arranging his funeral I decided to take some of his ashes to Bali. I am so pleased I did it as it gave me a lot of inner peace. His favourite thing to do every afternoon was go to the beach and sit with the beach sellers have a cold Bintang and chat away. The girls were devestated when they found out and they all took part in our little ceremony on the beach, they made offerings and scattered petals and a Bintang of course as my daughter, myself and some expats friends scattered the ashes into the water on Legian Beach. So now when I go back to Bali each August I feel part of him is there. Hope this helps you. Take care and I hope that by going to Bali helps you find some peace and tranquility also. L
